It is the first standard to call for equipment that supports Pixel Shaders 2.0 or higher and is Directx9.0 cooperative! 3dmark05 is a high-end benchmark for evaluating the previous generation of gaming hardware because it combines top-notch 2d, Motherboard, aspect, and portrait reliability tests, among many other things.
